Prepare the right details, let Bucko verify your plan and setup, then install the Indicator or Monko with a clean test before you rely on it. No separate MT5 purchase is required.
Already have Super or Omni? Use the email attached to that Bucko account when you sign in.
What happens next
A handoff you can actually follow.
Setup time varies with your broker, terminal, and account details. These are working estimates, not a service-level promise.
01
Prepare · about 5 minutes
Gather your MT5 account and environment details—never credentials.
02
Submit · confirmation is immediate
Your request is saved with a reference you can use with support.
03
Bucko reviews
We verify plan access and flag missing or incompatible setup details.
04
Install · usually 10–20 minutes
Once access is ready, place the supplied files and verify the local logs.
05
Prove it on demo
There is no universal safe duration. Observe the setup before live use.
Before you submit
Bring facts. Leave every secret out.
The guided setup collects only what Bucko needs to prepare the correct plan benefit and installation path.
YOU PREPARE
Your terminal and operating rules
Your Bucko sign-in tied to an active Super or Omni plan
Your MT5 account number—not the account password
Broker or prop-firm name, server name, and account type
Windows computer or Windows VPS running MetaTrader 5
The symbols and timeframes you expect to use
For Monko: firm EA rules, risk limits, sessions, and demo plan
SUPER + OMNI
Install the Bucko Indicator
The Indicator adds Bucko’s market context to supported MT5 charts. It does not place or manage trades, and it does not require Algo Trading.
01
Use the current files Bucko supplies
Follow the delivery message tied to your setup reference. The current build uses BuckoKeyLevels.ex5 and BuckoKeyLevels.lic; if your delivery instructions show different names, use those names.
02
Open this terminal’s data folder
In MT5, choose File → Open Data Folder. This prevents you from installing into a different MT5 copy on the same computer.
03
Place the indicator and license
Put the EX5 file in MQL5\Indicators and the license file in MQL5\Files. Keep the filenames unchanged.
04
Refresh, attach, and choose the chart
Right-click Indicators in Navigator and choose Refresh, or restart MT5. Open the intended symbol and timeframe, then drag the Bucko Indicator onto that chart.
05
Verify before relying on the chart
Confirm the indicator loads without a license error, chart history is available, and levels appear as expected. Review the Experts and Journal tabs if the chart stays blank.
Omni · Monko MT5 EA
Demo first. Rules first. Automation last.
Monko can place and manage orders through your MT5 terminal. Confirm that your broker or prop firm allows Expert Advisors, then verify every control before turning on automation.
01
Start with a demo account
Use an account where an unexpected setting cannot affect real capital or an evaluation. Make sure the submitted MT5 account number matches the account open in this terminal.
02
Install the EA and license
Open the data folder. Put MonkoPropEA.ex5 in MQL5\Experts and MonkoPropEA.lic in MQL5\Files. Refresh Expert Advisors in Navigator or restart MT5.
03
Allow Bucko license revalidation
In Tools → Options → Expert Advisors, allow WebRequest for listed URLs and add https://bucko.ai. This is for Monko’s license check; it is not needed by the Indicator.
04
Attach Monko with trading disabled
Open the intended symbol and timeframe, attach Monko, and leave Algo Trading off while you load and inspect the inputs. Confirm the correct EA, account, symbol, and server are shown.
05
Load a starting point and review every input
A preset reduces typing; it does not know your account rules. Reconcile every limit with the current broker or prop-firm terms before saving the configuration.
06
Enable, observe, and retain a kill path
Enable the EA’s algorithmic-trading permission and MT5’s global Algo Trading control only after review. Confirm the Experts log reports the expected license and guardrail state, and know how to disable new entries immediately.
Keeping Monko online
The terminal has to stay awake.
Monko monitors and manages through the MT5 terminal where it is attached. If that computer sleeps, restarts, loses internet, or closes MT5, the EA cannot continue operating until the terminal is running and connected again.
Use a Windows VPS when continuity matters
Choose a region with a stable connection to your broker
Disable automatic sleep and plan controlled maintenance
Confirm MT5 launches and reconnects after a restart
Re-check charts, Algo Trading, and logs after every migration
Keep remote-desktop credentials private from Bucko and support
Privacy + connections
What stays local. What Monko checks.
MT5 writes normal operating messages to its local Experts and Journal tabs. Those logs help you understand the state you see on the terminal.
BUCKO INDICATOR
No online Bucko license request
The Indicator verifies its license locally and does not use WebRequest. Signal logging, when you enable it, is written to the local MT5 Journal for diagnostics.
MONKO EA
Limited license revalidation
On startup and at its configured interval—60 minutes by default—Monko sends Bucko the license ID, product code, MT5 account number, and EA version. The response confirms access and may refresh the local license token.
NOT PART OF THAT CHECK
No password or full trade-history upload
The license request does not send your broker password, 2FA code, API key, VPS login, or full trade history. Order traffic still runs through your MT5 terminal and broker connection.
Read the visible symptom
Troubleshooting without guessing.
Start with the exact message in MT5’s Experts or Journal tab. Change one thing at a time, then restart or reattach the tool only when the step calls for it.
01The license file is not found
Confirm the .lic file is inside MQL5\Files in the data folder opened by this exact MT5 terminal. Do not put it beside the EX5 file, rename it, or use a folder from another MT5 installation. Restart the tool, then read the exact license line in the Experts or Journal tab.
02The license does not match this MT5 account
Compare the account currently signed in to MT5 with the account included in your Bucko setup request. If you moved to a different account, return to the guided setup flow so Bucko can review the binding. Do not send a password or a copy of the license file to support.
03The indicator or EA is missing from Navigator
Open File → Open Data Folder and check the product path: MQL5\Indicators for the Bucko Indicator, MQL5\Experts for Monko. Back in MT5, right-click the matching Navigator section and choose Refresh. If it still does not appear, restart the terminal and check the Journal for a load or compile error.
04Monko reports a WebRequest or license-server error
In Tools → Options → Expert Advisors, enable WebRequest for listed URLs and add https://bucko.ai. This setting is required for Monko’s online license revalidation. The Bucko Indicator does not use WebRequest.
05Monko is attached but is not opening trades
Verify global Algo Trading and the EA’s own algorithmic-trading permission are enabled, then read the Experts log. A daily cap, trade limit, cooldown, session window, spread limit, news blackout, kill switch, license state, or existing-position rule can intentionally block a new entry.
Need another set of eyes?
Send context, not credentials.
Email support with your setup reference and enough detail to reproduce the visible issue. Redact account numbers beyond the last four digits.
Trading futures, forex, CFDs, crypto, and other leveraged products involves substantial risk of loss. Bucko products are educational and analytical software, not financial advice or a promise of results. Automated systems can fail because of settings, market conditions, gaps, liquidity, broker downtime, platform outages, and other factors. You remain responsible for every account, setting, trade, and loss.
BUCKO HANDLES
Access, review, and the correct handoff
Verify the Super or Omni entitlement on your account
Confirm which MT5 benefit belongs with your plan
Review the account, broker, and environment details you submit
Flag missing information or an obvious compatibility concern

Send status updates tied to your setup reference
Bucko will never ask for trading credentials.
Do not send an MT5 password, investor password, broker login, 2FA code, API key, remote-desktop password, license file, or private claim link—in the form, in email, or to support.

Maximum trades per day and per hour
Cooldown after loss and existing-position behavior
Permitted sessions, time zone, and cutoff times
Spread limit and high-impact news blackout
Kill switch and the exact way you will use it
VPS connection, sleep settings, and restart behavior
OPTIONAL .SET FILES
Starting points—not compliance guarantees.
Load a preset from the EA Inputs window, then change it for your account. No preset guarantees that you meet a broker or prop firm’s current rules.
Use Load from the EA Inputs window and select the .set file supplied for the current build. Then review every value instead of assuming the preset fits your account. Broker contract size, minimum lot, symbol suffixes, account size, and prop-firm rules can all change the practical result.
07Monko stopped when my computer disconnected
The EA can only monitor and manage orders while its MT5 terminal is running and connected. Reconnect, inspect open positions and the Experts log, and verify the EA state before enabling new entries. For continuous operation, use a properly maintained Windows VPS.
08My plan changed, expired, or shows the wrong access
Sign in with the email used for your Bucko plan and open the guided setup flow. Include the resulting reference when contacting support. Do not keep automation enabled while the entitlement or license state is unclear.
